A question was asked by Abrantie Owusu-Mensah, why the change of venue.
As we have now registered with the Charities Commission and Newham Council, they turn to join one of your Meetings to see and find out what the said Charity is about and get the "feel" of the seriousness and it's legitimacy, so when a request fo assistance, a decision is made based on a "visit" report.
Also with the Tax Commission checking and arresting "KALABULE" Charity leaders, which l believe you've read in the papers or heard on the News. The Association is serious about it's business to "KUHIS", the Executive put it to a vote, of moving into a "Meeting-like" environment.
Our old meeting place, Kingsway, is a Ghanaian Club & Restaurant. The landlady/owner was kind to let us use her place for FREE, as her brother Collinwood-Williams is an old boy (class of 1973) anytime you are around Leytonstone, drop in for a bite or a drink. l know you all appreciate her kindness.
Abrantie Sam Saba, wanted to know why e-mail address were blind and permission is needed before it given out.
It has come to our notice that, home addresses are been used without the owener's knowledge, phone calls and e-mails to unreasonable request. No one likes that, so you ask for someones address or phone # , we have to get the okay and it's yours.
Everyone have a nice day
